It's June 1 so we are back with all the hot takes on May's Super PAC spending. But if you need up to the minute spending tracking, it is always available at 527tracker.com.

 
The numbers presented below are from May 1 to present
 
Make America Great Again Inc - The Trump aligned Super PAC is the big spender of the month once again
$10,289,509.22 has been spent in opposition to Ron DeSantis
$0 has been spent in support of Trump.

Never Back Down – the DeSantis aligned Super PAC announced this week in a piece by the NYT that it was going to spend $100M knocking doors in just 4 states, NH, NV, SC, and IA.  As 527tracker is the only place that has the capability to track mail, door knocking, and other canvassing activities, we will be watching to see if they live up to this big commitment. So far in may they spent:
$985,248.22 all supporting DeSantis and all in Iowa
Last month they spent a lot less and it was opposing Trump and Haley.
 
Ready for Ron - A Super PAC in waiting for DeSantis, that the DeSantis people have disavowed, has spent:
$500,000 – all of it in opposition to President Biden,
This super PAC continues to be a bit confusing. It is named Ready for Rob but spends in opposition to Biden. Last cycle it raised only $213k, but claimed to have spent $2.2M in IE but revised all those numbers down in their final reports to a grand total of $78K actually spent in IE last cycle.  So far this cycle they claim to have spent $2.9M in IE.....will be very interesting to see how their mid year reports show.

Unite the Country – one of the two main Super PACs supporting President Biden, Priorities USA being the other, has announced a $1M spending spree to boosts the President’s reelection announcement.
$319,235.86 – was spent this month supporting Biden bringing their total so far to roughly $600K of their $1M announcement.
 
Stand For America Fund, Inc., the Nikki Haley aligned Super PAC has spent:
$253,200.00 – all of it supporting Amb. Haley
 
People's Pharma Movement - A new Super PAC supporting Robert Kennedy
$233,807.24 - all supporting Robert Kennedy

Opportunity Matters Fund Action, the Tim Scott aligned Super PAC, has spent:
$100,000 – all of it supporting Sen. Scott

America Strong and Free Action – the Asa Hutchinson aligned Pac 
$73,645.70 – all supporting Hutchinson
 
That is most of the interesting spend for the month. Spending in the congressional primaries will likely spike after Labor Day and that is when the Presidential primary spend will be full throttle.  We will keep watching and reporting as these $$$ dynamics develop.
