Its Election Day and so we will do a quick wrap of some of the top line numbers as they are astounding.

But wanted to highlight first an op-ed we wrote and placed in The Daily Signal yesterday, drawing an analogy from the explosion of longform podcast’s impact on this year’s election to the 1960 televised Nixon/Kennedy debate. The big takeaway is the public has gotten used to unfiltered content coming from the social media personalities they follow and have grown to expect that of political candidates as well…so candidates are going to need to learn to do longform content if they want to accelerate their careers.

To the numbers:

$2,991,074,197.19 that’s how much has been spent in 65 days, between 9/1 and today by Super PACs as of the sending of this email. I fully expect us to hit $3B by the end of the day as the last expenditures roll in.

$1,210,521,174.54 spent on IE on the Presidency in two months.

$1,029,609,231.77 spent on Senate races since 9/1.

$750,933,521.29 spent on House races.

$401,099,464.90 most spent by a single Super PAC, Future Forward.

Remember, all these numbers are since 9/1 and only Super PAC spending, this is wild.

$254,642,730.43 Most spent on a Senate race, (OH) .

$27,765,096.87 Most spent on a House race (MI-07).
